Shopped at Yamakawa Super and bought a bunch of Japanese snacks.
When I returned home from dinner with friends tonight, I was informed that my nieces had tore into this baguette-shaped snack because they thought they were eating garlic bread biscuits. But they were sweet enough to save some for me.
Tasting it, I realised how they could have almost finished the entire packet between the 2 of them (saving only 3 pieces for me). The garlic taste wasn't overpowering, and the subtle hint of flavour made the snack very moreish.
