It is the first Playmates outing since I returned to Singapore with my broken arm! We had high hopes for this originally French comedy that ran for over two years in Paris and six in London. But while it has the occasional funny moment, it was not exactly a home run which is a pity because the script showed promise.

S, H & J were quite distracted by the native accents of the leads and I agree that sometimes when they go off in a lengthy monologue or spoke too quickly, their words became barely audible, lost in their accents. Additionally, the actor playing Robert also obviously forgot his lines on a few occasions.
My biggest takeaway from the play is that the French have all sorts of illicit liaisons.
